In the summer of 2008 Joe Ramaikas took a stand against bland and launched The Cupcake Corral. The Cupcake Corral was created to fill the void of delicious, home-style cupcakes in the Maplewood/South Orange area (and beyond!). Unsatisfied with what he found available locally, he decided to try and make a better product. Flipping through family cookbooks he tried and adapted many family favorites to his purposes. The rest, as they say, is history… with much still to be written!
Joe is a self-taught baker. He lives in Maplewood, NJ with his wonderful wife Felice, without whose support he would surely wither, and his awesome son and all-around cool guy, Hank.
